When we visited the Portland International Rose Test Gardens 4 years ago on our vacation (it was just as beautiful) no one told us about the awesome huge playground just down the hill! The entire Washington Park area is so huge and has so much to do (so many cultural & historical places, gardens, arboretums, playgrounds, soccer fields, etc…) Anyway, we hit up the big playground one morning and then walked up the hill to the rose gardens and enjoyed a family picnic. It was a beautiful and sunny day. Can’t wait to go back soon! Who wants to do a photo session amongst the gorgeous roses?! They smelled AMAZING. There were lots of bees out for lunch, too.
4 year ago (bottom) vs. now (top) HAH! Who knew we’d return to live here and have a kiddo with us?! Oh, how the Lord works in mysterious ways.
