Y’all. I’m obsessed. As if Oregon isn’t already beautiful enough, Spring in Portland just keeps woo-ing and impressing me. It’s been said that I can be an over-shooter when photographing and I TOTALLY wore that badge the day we found the cherry blossoms. These beautiful trees line the waterfront in Downtown Portland. I met about 5 other photographers while we were down there. It was THE place to be. It was the most beautiful evening – super sunny at times, but then clouds would take over and the sun would peek through and kiss the trees and light up Brady’s beautiful blonde hair. And it was delightfully crisp. It’s sad that the trees only bloom for a couple short weeks, but I guess that’s what makes them so special. There was even a guy playing the accordion so, it felt extra Paris-esque.
Brady was a good sport (most of the time – but c’mon I have to remember he’s only 3) and let me photograph him amongst the cherry blossom trees. I love photographing children in nature, especially among blooming flowers during Spring time! It just breathes fresh, new life, and child like curiosity where we can’t help but have hearts filled with gratitude.

If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome. ~ Anne Bradstreet ⠀
THIS is what he does (fake sleeps) when he’s trying to passively aggressively communicate he’s “done” taking pictures. hah!
