We were blessed to spend Easter lunch with our sweet (used-to-be-as-of-January) land lords and their lovely family. When you put all our kiddos together it’s easy to confuse them as siblings! I truly believe the Lord was sovereign in bringing us together. They’ve been a blessing in many ways and living in their home has been a blessing, too. The ownership changed a couple months ago and now we’re under a property management company, which is not preferred, but it could be way worse.
Anyway, back to Easter. The grandparents put on an outdoor egg hunt and gifted Brady an Easter basket with goodies in it! Alyssa did an amazing job creating a beautiful tablescape and adorable place settings. Through a group effort we enjoyed mimosas, smoked pork tenderloins, corn muffins with homemade Oregon berry jam, a beautiful salad and littler personal “dirt cake” for dessert (which the kids and I LOVED). I was super impressed, not only because it was so delicious and lovely, but they recently moved into their home AND are currently renovating it while living in it. They were so brave to host Easter lunch with all us hooligans. We’re so grateful for the way God has revealed His love for us since moving to Oregon. Thanks Westermann’s for having us over to share in celebrating our risen Lord together!
