Back in May I made a whirlwind super-packed trip (as usual). I was in one of my childhood friend’s wedding in a small town outside of Houston, I got to see two sides of my family in Katy, I did some Mommy & Me mini sessions on Mother’s day in Katy, and I also made a 36 hour trip to Dallas for a big Day in the Life Storytelling photo session.
These photos are from the very short time Brady and I spent together at my dad’s house. Brady spent a couple days with them while I was in and out of town and had a blast. You know he’s had fun when he’s got several ouchies lol. I wish I could have spent some more downtime with them. Seems like I’m always on the go when we visit Texas.
The first half of the photos are from when my best friend from college and her daughter came over to swim and catch up (quickly). Isn’t she the cutest little thing you’ve ever seen? Don’t mind the fact that she’s allllmost (to the day) HALF my son’s age, but his same size? I love it. We had a blast and wish we could see them ALL the time, but living in Oregon now makes that a bit difficult. Albeit, we enjoyed hanging out and the kids were so affectionate and sweet with each other. They bonded over food, of course. Snackie 2.0 (FACT: my college nickname was Snackie.)
The second half of images are from some family time… helping PawPaw feed the horses, practicing baseball/softball with Sam and Lisa, etc… We miss our family bunches, but are so grateful for any time we get to spend with them!
