We experienced our first Portland snow at the beginning of January. It’s pretty unusual that it heavily ices or snows here in Portland, but naturally our first year living here it did. We enjoyed a warm wood burning fire inside and played outside for a few minutes. We built a (pretty ugly) snow man. Us Texans need a tutorial on forming the different levels of a snowman- hah. Brian enjoyed chopping wood (one of his favorite past times) and George loves playing with the coffee cans (we once used for composting, but since changed our methods). George gets especially frisky when it’s cold out. He’s pretty hilarious if you just toss one of those cans his way… Very cat-like.
